Description
Travel itinerary from September 15th to September 28th, 2023, classic route including Tehran/Kashan/Isfahan/Yazd/Kerman and Shiraz.
Included in our program are: all hotels with breakfast, half-board, continuous accompaniment by an air-conditioned coach with a driver, a domestic flight from Kerman to Tehran, train journey from Tehran to Sari, procurement of visas with visa fees, all entrance fees as per the program, airport transfers in Iran, German-speaking tour guidance by me, and local guides in all cities except Tehran.

Sightseeing in Tehran, National Museum, Golestan Palace, Carpet Museum. Dinner in Darband, located on the slopes of the Alborz Mountains.

Drive to Kashan (245 km). Visit the Fin Garden, a historic mansion, and the Agha Bozorg Mosque.

Day 4) Monday 09/18/2023
After breakfast in Kashan, drive towards Isfahan via Natanz (220 km). Visit Meydane Naghshe Jahan (Image of the World) with its two beautiful mosques and the Alighapu Palace.

Visit the Lotfollah Mosque, Shah Mosque, and Aliqhapu Palace. In the afternoon, there will be free time for shopping and a visit to the Isfahan Bazaar.

Drive to Yazd on the edge of the Lot Desert (330 km). Visit traditional mud houses and wind towers. Birthplace of the Zoroastrian religion. Visit the Towers of Silence in Yazd.

Further visits in Yazd, Fire Temple of the Zoroastrians, Water Museum of Yazd, Amir Chakhmaq Square, Bazaar, and Friday Mosque.

After breakfast, we will drive towards Kerman, 369 km away. In Kerman, we will visit the Ganjali Khan Complex, including the bazaar and caravanserai.

Day 10) Sunday 09/24/2023
Today we will drive to Mahan to visit the Shahzadeh Garden (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the mausoleum of the mystic Shahnematollah Vali. Then we will continue our journey to Rayen and visit the ancient citadel.

In the early morning, we will drive to Shiraz, a distance of 570km. In Shiraz, we will visit the mausoleums of Hafiz and Saadi.

Day 12) Tuesday 09/26/2023
Today we will visit Persepolis, the city of Persians (550 BC), and Naghshe Rostam (The Necropolis). Afterwards, we will have a traditional lunch at a private home. We will return to Shiraz and in the evening, visit Shahcheragh, the most important mosque in Shiraz.
