Saturday, September 30, 2023, to Saturday, October 13, 2023, Classic Route Tehran/Kashan/Isfahan/Yazd/Shiraz.

In our program, the following are included: all hotels with breakfast, half-board, continuous accompaniment by an air-conditioned coach with a driver, a domestic flight from Shiraz to Tehran, obtaining visas with visa fees, all entrance fees as per the program, transfers to and from the airports in Tehran and Shiraz, German-speaking tour guidance provided by myself personally and a local guide.

    International flight from Frankfurt to Tehran and transfer to the hotel.

    Day 2) Sunday 10/01/2023

    Sightseeing in Tehran, National Museum, Golestan Palace, Carpet Museum. Visit Tajrish Bazaar in the north of the city, dinner in Darband at the foothills of the Alborz Mountains.

    Day 3) Monday 10/02/2023

    Drive to Kashan (245 km). Visit the Fin Garden (a typical Persian garden) and the historical Tabatabai House, as well as the Agha Bozorg Mosque (it is said that the Taj Mahal was later built based on its architecture and by the same architect).

    Day 4) Tuesday 10/03/2023

    Visit the historical bazaar of Kashan, built during the Safavid dynasty, with its central section called the Bazaar (Timche). Drive towards Isfahan, 220 km away.

    In Isfahan, visit Meydane Naghshe Jahan (Image of the World) with its two beautiful mosques and Alighapu Palace.

    Day 6) Thursday 10/05/2023

    Further visits in Isfahan include the Armenian quarter of Jolfa with the Orthodox Cathedral, Music Museum in Isfahan, Jame Mosque, and the Forty Columns Palace.

    Day 7) Friday 10/06/2023

    We will drive towards Yazd, a journey of 322 km. On the edge of the Dasht-e Kavir desert lies the birthplace of the Zoroastrian religion. We will become acquainted with this ancient Persian religion, visit the Towers of Silence, and the Zoroastrian Fire Temple.

    Day 8) Saturday 10/07/2023

    In Yazd, we will visit the Water Museum and Amir Chakhmaq Square, as well as the Zurkhane (traditional sports house). We will also have the opportunity to visit one of the most famous pastry shops in the city of Yazd.

    Day 9) Sunday 10/08/2023

    We will travel to Shiraz via Pasargadae, covering a distance of 441 km. Shiraz is known as the city of roses and nightingales, the city of love and poetry. At the mausoleum of Hafiz, we will read from the "West-East Divan." We will also visit the mausoleum of the poet Saadi, explore the Eram Botanical Garden, and explore the Vakil Bazaar of Shiraz.

    Day 10) Monday 10/09/2023

    We will take a full-day excursion to Persepolis, located 60 km southeast of Shiraz. Persepolis is known as the city of the Persians and was founded by the Achaemenid Empire. In the evening, we will visit the Shahcheragh Mosque in Shiraz, one of the most beautiful mosques in the city.

    Day 11) Tuesday 10/10/2023

    We will drive to Bishapur, located 140 km away, which is an ancient Sassanian city. Bishapur was inhabited during the Elamite and Parthian periods and was later reestablished by Shapur I. In the evening, we will return to Shiraz and transfer to Shiraz Airport.
