Saturday, October 26, 2024On this day, we will drive to Gonbad Kavus and visit the tallest brick tower (11th century) in Iran. Then, we will travel to Torkaman Sahra on the Caspian Sea to visit horse breeding facilities. We will also visit Torkaman Sahra Bazaar and experience the lifestyle of the people with their colorful traditional costumes.*****

Sunday, October 27, 2024We will stay at the Caspian Sea and visit the Hyrcanian forests and waterfalls along the Caspian Sea. Afterward, we will visit the Miankale Peninsula. Miankale is a biosphere reserve with more than 100 different bird species, such as flamingos, pelicans, eagles, and more. Here, sturgeon fish are bred for caviar production.

Monday, October 28, 2024In the early morning, we leave the Golestan province and head towards Mashhad (400km). Near Bojnurd, we stop at Espacho, a fire temple of the Zoroastrians. 70km before Mashhad, in Rudkhan, we visit Borj Rudkhan, a tower with the world's first sundial and solar calendar. In Mashhad, we visit the shrine of the eighth Imam of the Shiites: Imam Reza.

Tuesday, October 29, 2024We visit the Haram again during the day. This impressive mausoleum is one of the most intricate mosques in Iran, captivating all the senses with its tile work, gold embellishments, and water basins. Afterwards, we drive to Tus (25km) to visit the monument of the poet Ferdousi, who revived the Persian language after the Arab invasion.
